"Vitamin" by Incubus
Submitted by Chris N. (chrisnis@bellsouth.net)
-----------------------------------------------------------
This is a revised edition of the tabs from jmoore@1st.net
The only thing that I have changed is the Chorus. Everything
else appeared in his tabs
-----------------------------------------------------------
The bass begins after 15 sec. of guitar and
a bell-like noise, probably from a bell
of some sort, or possibly a metal object
shaped in the form of a cymbal...
Anyway, on to the tabs...

| We are born, at first we just do whatever our parents tells us to do, we don't really think for ourselves and follow our thoughts because we simply don't have them. After adolescence, our critical thinking starts to blosom, this is when we realize that we are vitamins of society, a vitamin can be needed and it can also help or it can reenforce. Brandon is basically saying that because he is so smart and intelligent he doesn't want to feed society with his thoughts then he emphazies that he is not sure you will understand him(And I wonder, will you digest me? ) He wants to stay awake, not entering into the common doings of human beings that conform society, those who do not think, who just follow. He is telling you to trully open your eyes and feed yourself, be your vitamin, not societies. Be for yourself, because you are the only thing that matters after all. What's the purpose of everything else being around you if you're not? Take care of yourself... A tip, stop watching TV from this moment and start reading, My nickname is a clue on where you should start. | |
