“am I the only one that hears "MISSION be careful what you wish for" not "you should"?” Yes. Check the lyrics that came with the album, it’s “you should” “Man did they rip off the bassline from Primus' "Duchess and the Proverbial Mindspread" and made a guitar riff out of it. I liked the song, but just wanted to point it out to you Incubus fans. Hell Incubus used to similiar to Primus back in the day. “ lol, the first thing I thought when I heard this song was “damn, this kinda sounds like Primus”. As for their first album sounding like Primus….I don’t really agree. Listen to Mr. Bungle’s first album, Fungus Amongus is a total ripoff of that album. Way more so than it is a ripoff of Primus.

Maybe it's a matter of perception, but I see paying homage to Primus and/or Mr. Bungle. These are a huge inspiration to Incubus, aren't they? As far as the alleged stab at The Roots go: Sorry dude, but I don't buy it.. :)

This song is about materialism and greed taking over a person...It's about how our culture makes a parallel between success and wealth....

Amazing vocals on this song. My take on this is how some people have to buy the best of everything. For instance, a new watch, but that $3000 watch is still going to tell you the same time as any average wrist watch. Also, some people who are so material obsessed and everything for them has to be perfect and sometimes better than everyone elses. With all these other things in the world we don't need another devil (greed/envy) to add to that list.
