	I think that Brandon is basically saying that no matter how much people get down on you, you just have to ignore it and be true. Because if you let it all get to you, then you'll just lead a life of sadness and fear, when in reality life is short and you need to enjoy it and take it for all you can while your here.

	this is my favorite incubus song ever, if you love this song, check out the live acoustic version of it, its so good, anytime im pissed off i pop in the acoustic version, its so good. So dont let the world bring you down
