| Personally I agree with all of you. I think it's about wanting the real and honest truth from someone that keeps lying or hurting you. It seems like he wants to end the relationship but he still loves her "..my problem is you make me melt and I don't want to be frozen anymore.." so it holds him back and he tries to get her to see things from where he's at. Sounds like the girl's pretty set in her ways. Definitely a fantastic song. | |

| I heard this song when a girl I was really into was lying to me alot, so thats probably why i inturpret the song the way i do. This part is my favorite: "Unabashed honesty would be ideal But a prophet did once say, that honesty’s a lonely word" - He's saying that complete truth would be great but he'd rather be with her and deal with unhonesty than be honest and argue, and not be together. "So where do we go from here? Abandon ship now!" - Does he give up on her and the relationship?
