| what's wrong with a song about sex? as long as it's done tactfully, i think that it's fine. maybe there is no deeper meaning to it. maybe it is just about two people finding each other and making their night a little better. brandon makes it seem like this picturesque journey that he takes part in... it's beautiful and perfectly worded. the song everlong by the foo fighters is in the same kind of realm as this one and everyone tried to disect it and make it out to be this big complicated deal. but when someone asked lead singer dave grohl what it was about, he said it was plainly about sex...just put into nicer terms. sex doesn't have to be this shallow, hormone driven array of words, it can be almost heavenly sounding... which is the case with this song. | |

| A beautiful, profound, intense love song.... but the 'Love is a verb' lyric is 'lifted' from Massive Attack's hynotic 'Teardrop'. I don't think it takes away from the song's power though. | |
