	I'ts a great song (like most incubus songs) but it's far from being best incubus song (especially when it comes to lyrics) or even the best lovew song, i recoemnd you read any lyric from the maje yourself album and you'll see wat i mean.

	brandon wrote this song while sitting on the beach looking into the sky. he says he was just wishing he had someone there with him (not necessarily a girl, but a good friend)...its a great song!

	Before I actually read the lyrics, I thought it was "I signal them with my ladder" Tee hee! It could be possible! Isn't it just funny imagining someone signalling UFOs with a ladder! It's funny!

	I think it is about the ovbious thing... Some one(maybe Brandon) in a state of total relaxation and peace " the worlds a roller coaster and I am not strapped in" he is free from everyday stessful life and does not have to worry about anything(doesn't have to worry about "holding on with care"). he is in the perfect place, on a beach, and everything is so beautiful and he just wishes that someone is there to share it with him If it is a specific person and who that is, we will never know (unless one of the writers tells us) But it is a great song As brain case stated it just puts you in a different state of mind, makes you feel like you are actually on the beach with the narrarator. the whole album does this to you. Even though a lot of it is loud and distiorted it is just so relaxing to listen to. It is written so well and exceptionally produced. It is a must have album for anyone who is a fan of music Listen to the whole album start to finish and you will understand what I am talking about
