I love this song. I agree with parabola the slow motion thing pertaining to that blury love feeling. I think by "keeping both poets and priests at bay" means that the person he admires is so great they left poets and priests muted and stunned. I love the lyrics and I think it's a great song.

yea this song is my favorite incubus song, it can mean many things, from love or just admiration for a individual. I love the ending. I wish they put their b songs and soundtrack songs on a cd and sell it, because their b side stuff is better than most A-side shit people put out every year in the industry. 1

this song is one of the best incubus songs, i've every heard. i think he's so deep in love that he sees the world go by so fast, and she just gracefully goes by. as if he's only looking at her. like when you focus on something so intensely, everything else is a blur except that one thing.

I think it's about how he thinks the girl he's in love with is such a great person and strives to be more like her, and in regards to the "Could you move in slow motion..." part, happy moments in our lives pass us by all too quickly, so he wants to slow down and try and make it all last forever. Beautiful song as always, ecstatic to hear fresh Incubus =)

What an awesome song from Incubus. I hope their next album is like this song and "Make a Move" I will certainly be happy, a mix of the old and the new.
