| i think the song is about how someone is who is afraid to be themselves. in order to be himself, he needs someone to accept him for who he is. i think everyone wants to make fun of the guy, so "marmaduke" i assume is what everyone is calling the guy. "Egg him along, make him feel at ease with himself, steal his clothes, leave him his shoes" i think that means that once he comes out of his shell, they used him and left him with the bare essentials to live with. i dunno, thats what i think. | |
