| I think Steve Harris wrote this song, but I'm probably wrong (not much of a researcher). He's a really good song writer, but this is by far not the best Iron Maiden song. However, the lyrics are more "personal" than the average IM song... only a true asshole cannot relate to this song... Just kidding... I know some assholes who like this song, too. | |

| i like this song. the pace and tone helps the mood it creates. like at the beginning its slow and kinda feels like suspenseful creeping fear, just like how anyone would feel if they were walking at night and the streetlights turned off. or a horror movie when they hear a creak and go and investigate (duh, ur gonna die). just like a shiver down your spine, not full on just in the back of your mind. then when it speeds up right after the 1st chorus its like full on panic and frantic terror. like in the horror movie when they see the psycho killer or whatever it is and they're screaming and running and they know they're gonna die or get pretty close to it (told you). good song at any rate. | |
