| I love this song. This is one of those songs that you can play really loud and it sounds good. The video is them playing live on the 'a real live dead one' i think and has intakes of pictures and videos from the first Gulf war. It starts off with just people going to Iraq and then as the song progresses i moves on to AH-64s blowing stuff up and artilary firing at targets, Very cool. | |

| Bruce said "next song is about a war - just to make a mental note that war is bullshit and people that make people go to war are usually politicians and the people that get killed are usually ordinary people. A song out an ordinary person that doesn't want to kill anybody. " | |

| Its about a kid being draughted off to war, and not being able to understand the reason for war and why ppl kill each other. The original album was 'a real live one', btw, they released 2 albums origianally, 'a real dead one' and 'a real live one', then made it a double cd - 'a real live dead one'! | |

| I always interpreted this song to be about how horrible war is, and yet at the same time acknowledging that sometimes it is necessary: "But how can we let them go on this way? The reign of terror corruption must end And we know deep down there's no other way " | |

| Dear UpTheIrons, it can NEVER be in Live After Death (1985) while the Fear Of The Dark album was in the 1992, the song IS about war (mostly Gulf War I if you have watched the videoclip), but could be taken as war in general. have a nice day all of you | |
