	This is one of my favorite songs on the Piece of Mind album, other than The Trooper. It's based on an ancient Greek myth and fits together perfectly with Iron Maiden's other songs. A true classic, if not one of the best songs ever written.

	Icarus was some greek dude. Him and his daddy were trying to escape from somewhere so they made wings out of feathers. His daddy told him not to fly too close to the sun but he did anyway and whatever was holding his wings together melted and he died. I think thats what happened anyway.
