| I dont know if its anything at all to do with, but *the devil in a black dress* is a direct quote from a sisters of mercy song (temple of love) in which she plays the part of evil luring the guardian angel away and causing the temple of love to come falling down. i doubt its connected, but i had to comment. this is also a seriously good song. what people dont seem to get is that something like Angels Fuck is in a different style to this, and if thats your style then of course your going to think its better. but its a matter of style and i think the two are incomparable, its like saying Britney is better than Mozart because more people sing *oops i did it again* on the train than those that hum the third symphony for strings... its just stupid. 1 2 Next | |

| i agree with some of what thornykins was saying, because of an interview with jessicka, she said; "The Devil is such a taboo that people are drawn towards it. I notice at shows that the worse I act on stage, the closer the kids come. To them, I became an entity - "Devil With The Black Dress On." No matter what I was doing, they just wanted more" Anyway i think this song ROCKS! yes you can still interprate it your own way, maybe it has a double meaning. EVERY joj song is good, and jessicka has a beautiful voice. | |

| It's an interesting song. No as deep as some of the others, but it's not bad. It's kinda like payback to the one she thought of as an "angel." | |

| i love this song. it's my cruising song for when i'm with friends. utter fun! but i agree with thornykins as to the meaning. i don't get why so many people diss on this song and claim that strawberry gashes and angels fuck are the best joj songs ever. they have many other songs that are just as good! | |

| Well, I do like this song, but compared to beautiful songs like "Strawberry Gashes" or "Vivica" there is no contest. | |

| Thornykins I totally agree =) I was reading down and was just like "OMG, yes, but someone PLEASE comment on it.." you did! Woot! It can also be like everyone loves her (Her doesn't even have to be Jessicka, you could generalize it too, but there is a very good connection there) and adores her and idolizes her but she's really a bad person, a bad role model, and you could maybe say that like kids today don't want good role models we've got all these bad ones and that's who they look up to and maybe it could be about she feels bad for maybe being one of them? That may be pushing it. Just possibilities =) | |

| i like this song...it's all happy sounding. I just hate the end with the "g-g-g-go-go-go-gone." that's a little too silly for me. | |
