i agree with what Freakonaleash says, and what NoseDragon says, but i also think its basically about a relationship where someones being totally hurt and fucked up but doesnt care because they love the other person so much. kinda like the one im in now. the 'fuck what i want, fuck what i need' lines are just saying 'i dont care about myself anymore' a situation where shes just become nothing for this person and she doesnt even care. i dunno, another of those songs with many meanins

I agree with 'vapid' - I also imagined the ‘Girlscout’ to be a groupie. Girl scouts are typically innocent young girls and groupies/fanatics are typically young girls who are seemingly innocent and perhaps society thinks they 'should' be girl scouts instead. I think that the person who's perspective the lyrics are based upon (be that Jessicka herself or another 'rock-star', or perhaps Jessicka is the girl scout herself?) treats the girl badly and with little respect, but the girl still seems to love them. The person sees that the groupie really loves them but, instead of letting them down gently, they hurt them more in an attempt to drive them away ("Will you love me any less if I hurt you any more ?") They claim that the endless rounds of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll, have 'dehumanized' their heart and that all they want to do is 'fuck what I want'. But really, they are human deep inside and only claim to be dehumanized because of the status they have been given. Also, to me, the lines - "Kissed by a star, kissed by a star. Hurt by a star, fucked by a star" are the rock-star's admittal of being hurt by the groupie and that the careless front they put on is a direct result of how the groupie makes them feel. They are saying that the groupie has had her moment of glory and 'fucked a star' and that now she should just leave as she has ‘served her purpose'. The more you look into these lyrics, the more intersting the whole situation becomes and it really makes you think about the true feelings between ‘rock stars’ and their ‘groupies’.

I always imagine it a groupie, as Jessicka calls her fans Girlscouts... and her fan loved her so much, and she was kinda pulled into it, and then it just got to the point where Jessicka was using the girl who she never loved in the first place, and couldn't give her everything she wanted (re: how can I grow a girl when you never were a man - a baby?)

This song is so easy to relate to... especially the last verse. It's finally saying, well you don't care, so why should I spare your feelings if you don't spare mine? Or maybe it's because I've gone through a situation like that...

i love the line ' will you love me any less if I hurt you any more' I think the song's about someone (a girl?) who loves jessicka, but sche doesn't love her. and she keeps telling her, but it doesn't work.

I think it's a great song about saying "get out of your fantasy world, we aren't meant for eachother." I love this song. JoJ Rocks!

I think the "girl scout" is her and she sacrificed alot of things for a guy and he didn't care, didn't care about what she wanted or cared about.

Your mouth is getting sore... is she giving him head? I think she is speaking for the guy in the chorus, and the girl in the verse. I think its about a guy using a girl.

This song is (apparently) about a girl she had a relationship with (kissed by a star) and it wasn't as important to Jess as it was to the girl at the time....but Jessicka regrets hurting her. ::with a halo in my hand::

I may be wrong, but it gave me the feeling that this was written by Jessicka from Manson's perspective.. that is, if she is the 'Nancy' in his book... but I haven't done enough research, or any really, to say for sure. Great band, and my favorite song. Dunno why, but it brings a lot of emotion in me. 1
