I guess the song is just about a girl who hurt herself, and her friend checked up on her, and the girl eventually cut herself and the girl wanted to trade places with her, and I guess that's why the last line says they are all over her. I love this song SO much. I dunno why :/

Yes, this song has to be one of the best JoJ songs ever made!! Although, all their songs are just as great(i agree that My Cat isnt all that great). I love that quote "Some things you lose and some things you just give away" Ah, Jessicka has such an exquisit voice and she writes such inspiring lyrics. I defintely have to say they are one great band. 1 2 3 4 Next

I think this song is a friend singing about another friend who used to cut themselves and then they committed suicide and the friend whose singing feels like they didnt do enough.

I think it's kind of about getting raped/molested...which explains the line"some things you lose and some things you just give away.." and also " i dreamt of a demon who knew her.." after a while...maybe she starts cutting her self and all that stuff...living like a disaster and what not...

it's a great song, obviously about cutting. i think a lot of the lyrics are pretty self explanatory, and I cant be bothered to type out my full interpretation, suffice to say self mutilation appears in a lot of JoJ song lyrics.

some frickin scary shit. Im not really into the gothic music thing, some of it is ok i suppose. I've heard about 5 Joack off Jill song's and this is the only one i even kinda liked. There really kewl but not as good as Kittie, who aren't particularly good either. All this self-mutilation talk and vampire/gothic shit can be really depressing after too much of it. COOL name though! i'll give them that, very creative.

i think the "devil" is the depression and cutting, she saw it all and her friend may even have told her or maybe she mentioned it to her friend but whatever happened it wasn't enough because now she's dead

Turn her over A candle is lit, I see through her Blow it out and save all her ashes for me i think she is saying she found her friend dead and that she gets her ashes from being cremated Curse me sold her The poison that runs it's course through her Pale white skin with strawberry gashes all over all over i think she is saying that the poison is the meds she is taking i also think she is saying it is her fault her friend or whatever had committed suicide, and that she wished it was her....i agree with most of what the other people had posted..... good good good song...
