| i think shes saying that although she doesn't like herself that much "drown drown myself.." she dislikes the people the song is about more....and that they will be punished when she is queen....also shes saying the other people they've hurt she will heal "patron saint of self injury patron saint of self-injury the glitter sores will heal themselves I'll play the part of someone else" thats a really dark line for me....because shes saying she'll be some one else and it'll be ok...and i know what that feels like. brilliant song....i can relate alot...xxxxx | |

| i think in this song Jess is sorta pulling off into a fantasy land, of basically revenge on those who've hurt her and pple she loves the hush baby lines always make me think of her trying to shelter and protect someone she loves from the pain others are causing, and also the pain shes gonna cause. kinda like when u tell a little kid not to look when ur doing something u dont want them to see. also the drown myself bit is because she knows she can never have the revenge, so the only way she can deal with it is destroy herself. i love this song i listen to it when i feel attacked by someone, helps me feel i can cope and stuff | |

| I think this is a sad as wella s angry song. It's about the fact that she wants revenge for all the wrongdoings and also the fact that she can't have it. Not right now and probably not ever "until then i'll have to drown drown drown myself' The screaming parts are all the anger at the fact that what she believes is rightful revenge will naver happen and she's stuck in a vicious cycle of having bad done to her and everyone else and not ebign able to do anything about it. It's also, i think, about how power can corrupt. When i am queen - when i am all powerful. theres all these grusome things she's talking about in a calm and un-emotional way. when she's screaming about how shes trapped down with no power, there is emotion and she hasnt been corrupted by power. feel free to dissagree with me :) -roz- | |
