The other person in this relationship is giving into something such as depression. This person starts to skip out on things and avoid people because they've deeper into depression. This frustrates Jess because she wants this person to stop wasting themselves away and to continue keeping her company, noting that she wants them to stay. But really, this frustrates her to extremes. She seems to think that the only way out of the situation is to kill either one of them. Now, all that I'll ever suffer All that I'll ever be All that I'll ever ruin You can always cover me with makeup This person has been blaming her for their depression, and making her feel as if she's ruined her life and that Jess should suffer too. Jess is trying to mend this by saying that she (the problem) can be covered with makeup, therefore hinting that she wants this person to get out of depression. If Jessicka considers herself the problem, she still wants to help, but does not want to destroy herself to make this other person better. I envy your demise Seven hundred and fifty degrees When it burned it smelled like you But it scorched and looked a lot like me Now Jessicka has agreed with the person, who is making her feel like she's at fault for this person's depression. It seems here that she's burning herself out of aggrivation at this person. When the burn worsens, it looks ugly. And this other person's words have gotten to her, so she probably has self esteem that's low as hell. She therefore thinks that the burn looks ugly and it makes her think of herself. (But I love Jessicka to bits. She isn't ugly.) I envy your demise You never said that you'd try When I had to lose control Lose control to really cry This person is not making an effort to make themselves better. When Jessicka finally can't take the situation any longer and she breaks down, the person does nothing to help. Now, all that I'll ever abuse All that I'll ever see All that I'll ever ruin You can always cover it with makeup All that I'll ever limit All that I'll ever try All that I'll ever trust You can always cover it with All that I'll ever abuse All that I'll ever see All that I'll ever ruin You can always cover it with makeup This person is hurting themself, and Jessicka feels as if she's abusing them. She still, however, wants them to be better, and wants them to cover up their scars (burns, bruises, other injuries?) and get better. Of course, I'm making it seem really innocent. ...I love this song.

I envy your demise I hope it's all you dreamed it would be This song reminds me of most teenagers and how they have, well, poor impulse control. The line "you can always cover it with makeup" reminds me of how teenage girls slather themselves with makeup to make themselves pretty; to hide themselves, it seems.

i think its sorta like reaching a point in a relationship where you cant take any more and you know one of u is gonna be destroyed, but you dont know who.i love the first line. i agree with the things about make up too, that line is sort of my... i dunno, motto i guess. i live by that line.
