| "I am the only one to blame for this, somehow it all adds up the same, soaring on the wings of selfish pride i flew too high, and like icarus i collide." Icarus flew too close to the sun and his fake wings melted and he fell. when soar too far on our pride, it always turns out the same way, we end up falling. "to turn away and not become another nail to pierce the skin of one who loves, more deeply than the oceans, more abundant than the tears of a world embracing every heartache" This pessimistic world that dwells on every heartache has a huge abundance of tears. Jesus loves us way more than that. His love is stronger than our pain. Why can't the world see that? | |

| the sad thing is that i've never heard this song. never. (but I'm going to download it, buy the CD, etc. very soon) but reading these lyrics touches my heart in an incredible way. this is truth, in all it's beauty and sorrow. | |

| Hmm...naw, I believe it's correct the way it is. Anyway...i LOVE this song. I can play it in my head, on the guitar, whatever! The emotion of the singer/song speaks like no other! It holds a more special meaning especially to those who are believers. The "additional lyrics" also adds a whole lot to the song. i love this song. ok, i'm done. =p | |
