i had no idea that: 'After all the jacks are in their boxes and the clowns have all gone to bed' was about the bbc thing- but i like the metaphoric meaning better

Uh-will the wind ever remember the names it has blow in the past? I just love that line. Very good song!

Godisadrug and Phatgrrl are right. That's what it is about according to Jimi himself. Great great song, such an eerie feel.

The same thing happened to me Yakuza, but it was my sister who was listening to the cd. It was this song who made me get interested in jimi hendrix.
