"Like your favourite Heatmiser song goes, it's just like being alone" Pretty clever.

I'd rather hear this version that the Heatmiser one, cause that one is kinda boring. Great cover by JEW.

the original is by heatmiser - not half right. on their album futures, JEW made a reference to a heatmiser song with KILL 'like your favourite heatmiser song goes, it's just like being alone'. and what do you know, on their latest EP they did a cover of the heatmiser song they were referring to. I wouldn't say this is an awful heatmiser cover, coz if you listen to both songs carefully, they're pretty much the same, the only subtle difference is the vocals. But hey if you don't like JEW then fair enough, but i think they did a pretty good cover of that song.

I have to say - this is an awful Heatmiser cover. The original is so far better its ridiculous. Yes - it's a very hard task to live up to Elliott Smith's standard, but they've fallen far short here. The first line is actually: "Well you shouldn't doctor yourself" which, when sung by Smith, was one of my favorite lyrics. Jimmy Eat World ruined this song for me.
