I saw him playing this one on Studio 22, and he said something like "This one's for the WTO..." that was about the time of the no WTO protests in sydney in 2002, so maybe its a song about greed in general, and he dedicated that particular performance to stopping the WTO. He's big on activism and stuff, so i think it probly is about the screwed up attitude of the lovely World Trade Organisation

This was the song that got me into the JBT. The drumming and lyrics are just amazing! I actually always thought the song was about how the government seems to have little time for issues like environmentalism, but after reading the above posts and looking at the lyrics it would seem that it is about domestic issues. Either way the lyrics work for me!
