and Oh My God I can't Believe it! I've never been this far away from home
2nd verse same as first but words go :
Great rulers make for greater glory
The only thing growing is our history
Knock me down I'll get right back up again
It comes back stronger than a powered up Pac-Man
It don't matter to me
It's all I wanted to be
Is a million miles from here
Somewhere over there

| On the 3rd verse, the lyrics do not sound like "red shirts looking for greater glory". does anyone know if these lyrics are wrong, or am i just hearing it incorrectly. Quality song btw, favourite one of the album | |

| there is actually a couple of wrong lyrics on here... the first line should be "time on your side that will never end" and it is should be "great ruins make for greater glories" straight out of their cd jacket....... but this song is great, whenever i take a roadtrip or find myself somewhere i wouldn't have expected this song pops in my mind | |

| There is something disturbingly addicting about this song, and I am extremely weakminded when it comes to getting songs, well, unstuck from my brain, thus, it will remain. It's catchy as all hell, though. Isn't it? | |

| This song is awesome. Ricky Wilson said in NME this issue: "Its a cracker, innit? It's about being in a band, about being a fish out of water. The first leap's always the hardest." | |

| I think it's about escapism and the common man's ambitions to get away from the drudgery of work and some where new and fantastical. Great song, real dancing music. Love it. | |
