Such an excelent song i think it's just about a couple who, after the sizzle and excitement of first getting together fades away realize they don't really like/know each other

I think its about being seperated from the one you love. We might as well be strangers...as in feeling like you've been apart for so long you don't know them anymore.

These lyrics read into me so much. I have a tendancy to not put enough effort into my friendship relationships, and I "forget" people...

Let me just say that at this very moment, I completely relate to these very sad lyrics. With this in mind, I think that this song is about the heartbreaking observation that after a breakup with someone, the two people suddenly become complete strangers during their post-breakup recovery periods. One minute, she's your best friend and you know everything she does each day, and the next, you feel as if you "might as well be strangers living in a different world." That sudden transition from being lovers to strangers is always painfully shocking, but I believe you kind of need that in order to get completely over someone.

i think this is a beauitful song..i cannot stop listening to it, so compassionate and deep, it realtes to someone whos lost love and wishes they hadn't even met. U HAV E TO LISTEN TO NOW! =]
