ok i dont like this song that much but why the hell do these "music purist" bash the kid? If he sold out how come he changed his music so he would like it? If he changed for sales then he screwed up because his sales have dropped

Yeah, and Metallica has never been known to do a cover, either. PLEASE! No disrespect to Metallica, but talk about a band that sold out. Metallica ten or fifteen years ago was as good as it gets, but this new stuff is horrid. And I'm sorry, but they have degraded multiple artists themselves, including Queen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Bob Seger, all bands that are significantly deeper and better than Metallica could ever be. Not to mention, they wouldn't complain about Napster or anything like that, because they weren't in it for the money. They actually did it for the music!

ok now to talk about the actual meaning... I think this song is just Kid Rock lashing back at so-called "High-Class" society who really just want to control the minds and morality of everyone. He's giving a big FU to the whole "Let's all be nice and P.C. movement." America is about being who you want to be.

Wether or not you like Kid Rock is fine but, sb1_usfbi", your a moron. You said Metallica isnt known to do covers...excuse me but Metallica released two cover albums. Garage Inc, and Garage Days Revisited. So do everyone a favor and shut up. Im trying to see things from your point of view but I can get my head that far up my own ass!
