| 1st verse...lines 1-2the idealists are being forgotten because of all the conformists lines3-4:Again no one cares about those who are suffering b/c they're too busy collecting riches lines 5-6:maybe that some people feel guilt because they use to care about others and are now to wrapped up in themselves No one will do anything to make peace b/c they're too busy focusing on themselves...soooo the silence drowns out the screams. His life is confusion as he stumles along the path of life...it's messed up because of how messed up our world is...if we make it we can laugh but he thinks tomorrow he'll just cry.... The fate of the world is controlled by politicians...probably corrupt b/c of the bad light they're painted in...ruled by their own desire all these people think they know so much but boundaries have to be set and people can't just do whatever they want. again the fate of the world is controlled by fools(same as in lines 1-4) I really LOVE this song it has so much meaning and depth...really poetic and beautiful...King Crimson rocks!!!!!!!!! | |
