| I find this song really melancholy, I loved it before even reading the lyrics (I could never understand the accent!) But having seen the Withnail line I'm inclined to follow csa09 in the Withnail & I reference. I think it's even more melancholy now. I reckon it's about not getting what you want from life, things not working out exactally how you imagined they would. Withnail was never sucessful, the person in the song never got to be the Rodeo king, no matter how much they wanted it. Or whatever. I love this song. And Withnail & I. | |
