| I think it's the narrator's lack of fear of being taken off in death. He doesn't see the need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the afterlife he's willing to go. From the other theme's of Kyuss I can deduce it's basically his acceptance og the cycle of life and death and that death isn't something to fear but to accept. He's lived life on earth, wherever he goes next he will go, there is no use worrying. | |

| I also heard that this was a Yawning Man song, I haven't had the pleasure of hearing their work unfortunately, but they were described by Kyuss as the greatest band they'd ever seen, as well as most inspirational... thats a pretty positive review from one of the greatest and most inspirational bands that I know. I love the guitar in the verse and the contrast of the chorus. Alkomon, what the hell. I think, maybe, just maybe, hes saying he has his own spirituality in nature, the smooth stones, the cool air... thats how he feels God. He doesn't need the trappings of religion to "brace" him or impose God's "will" on him, he doesn't doubt the power of God or the universe, so leave him the hell alone. Also or some reason the version i got was tagged "Catanarav". is that just typos? "catamaran"... i dont understand the connection with the title at all. | |
