| I think Spyke got it right. But here's another perspective, even if it's a stretch: First of all, who says the hunter is masculine? It could be a woman, maybe a lesbian. Also, it isn't unheard of for a woman to sing a man's part. This is actually from the hunter's perspective. He or she is trying to embrace a woman who is either dead, or is not real to begin with. She is 'moving on', either to the afterlife, or to another stage of existence. | |
