| Ok. Here is what I think. This song is about how you’ve been lied to all your life and how the lies actually protect you from hurtful things. The light is truth and the truth gives you pain. Therefore, you learn to accept all the lies you’ve been told and perhaps even participate in them your self. Its hard to trust people because you are so used to the lying and you believe that everyone is lying always. You want to get away from all the deceit but you realize that freeing yourself from the lies only makes you feel alone. Sound good? I think this is one of LC's negative ending songs since the truth hurts and you are alone... | |
