| I think this is also about an abusive relationship. "And it doesn't matter how you feel now, anything at all Seems to be your only way, so vicious Heavenly apart When your envy is on a piece of paper Let me sweetly smile You're devouring all the crumb I'm leaving caught up in your lies" The lover is usually Violent. she doesn't care how he feels now that they are apart. She's caught him in his lies. "You're on any other side Clawing up my eyes I'm feeling your arms around me On the other side It's time to go I'm hearing your voice without words On the other side" She still feels his temper, his anger, his voice, his frustrations. Could it be that other side is the after life and he's been dead? He could be haunting her even after death. but not haunting her as like a ghost, he haunts her in her mind. "But it doesn't matter how I feel now, anything at all Since I've left you with the wrong impression while I'm still the same When I turn around and look at my life, shadows in disguise but I'm working on an interruption of hypocrisy" She showed him she saw strong but she still feels the same, afraid. Whatever the meaning is, i still love this song. Its one of their best | |

| I get a mixed feeling on this song. It seems either that She is leaving someone whom is jelous and when she does leave the person begins to think that she is leaving because he is right. But in all reality is wrong. She still cares about him but doesn't want him to keep thinking that no matter what she does. Or on the other hand. could mean that someone close has died. they had their reasons to die and she didn't get to tell them exactly how she felt. But knows that they are still there with her. Could be way off. Still gives me another feeling but I'm not quite able to explain it. | |

| I don't know, but this song rules. Maybe about thinking someone's there subconsciously, but in reality they're not? | |

| To break away from the same old crap people say, I think the song is based more on a story. I think the person the speaker is talking to commited a violent crime, possibly against them and was thrown in jail. Blinded by their feelings, they visit the criminal in jail. "Clawing up my eyes" The line that makes my suspect the crime was against the speaker "I'm feeling your arms around me On the other side" On the other side may refer to a barrier in a jail cell. The criminal may be acting like he loves her. "It's time to go" The visit time is up "I'm hearing your voice without words On the other side" Still remembering the visit. "And it doesn't matter how you feel now, anything at all" Possibly reffering to the crime, saying that no matter WHY he did it, he still gets the time "Seems to be your only way, so vicious" Expressing anger over the crime "Heavenly apart" Then she seems to forget about it "but I'm working on an interruption of hypocrisy" That's just a retarded line they threw in to sound fancy. | |

| I think this song is about someone trying to get over someone and rethinking everything that has happened and finally realizing how its driving them mad because the other person doesnt care about them how they try to reach out but theyre as she sings on any other side | |

| This song, to me, is being about a woman who is leaving her boyfriend/husband because he's an abusive person. Not physically abusive, but more emotionally abusive. What seals this belief for me is when she says in the opening of the chorus, "You're on any other side". This reminds me of some of my own personal experiences with people where, no matter what logic I used or what reasoning I could put forth, they were always on the other side of my position. Just my two cents. | |

| I think this song is dealing with a past relationship and by the other side she is referring to the past. I think she misses the relationship she once had with this one person, that changed abruptly with no change on her part. She is discussing the hurt one goes through dealing with recovering from a broken love that you couldn't change. Clawing up my eyes I'm feeling your arms around me On the other side It's time to go I'm hearing your voice without words On the other side she is obviously attempting to move on but her flashbacks of him are haunting her as she is forced to overcome them to feel closure | |

| in my opinion this is a song about a Love/hate relationship... the speaker at the same time loves and despises this other person... they hurt each other, they compete with each other. | |

| 'And it doesn't matter how you feel now, anything at all Seems to be your only way, so vicious Heavenly apart ' She doesn't care about him, because he was so nasty and vicious and now that they're apart it's like Heaven 'cos she's free now. 'When your envy is on a piece of paper Let me sweetly smile You're devouring all the crumb I'm leaving caught up in your lies ' When he realises what he's done wrong and he will be jealous of her, she will be happy. He leeched of her and was useless on his own. The chorus: Clawing up my eyes: BAsically inflicting pain on her. The rest is about how she's far away, she's left him, but she can't stop thinking about him and his pain is coming though the distance. He's disturbing her. 'But it doesn't matter how I feel now, anything at all Since I've left you with the wrong impression while I'm still the same ' She doesn't care what he thinks of her since she left. She's still weak though. 'When I turn around and look at my life, shadows in disguise but I'm working on an interruption of hypocrisy ' She looks at herself and sees that she is not who she wants to be, so she is trying to become strong for her own benefits. | i almost think that it's about a lover that died and she wishes he'd stay dead, the pain of memories would be 'clawing out my eyes' cause who doesn't remember something that they wished at some point that they hadn't had the eyes to see? and then it almost seems like she thinks he's tortured somehow, 'i'm hearing your voice without words' i've thought about that line for a long time, and i can only think that she's saying i hear you screaming. i like the jail/prison idea. but who knows | |

| I think she's with someone but this guy cheated on her, so she killed the girl with who he was. So now she's dead, it doesn't matter how the girl feels, the girl is in heaven, away from her and her lover. But from the other side she's hauting her, and she imagine she's trying to claw up her eyes and suffocate her. But it doesn't matter how she feels so bad by thinking of it, she killed her, and her lover will stop lying to her (interruption of hypocrisy). It funny to think that "feeling your amrs around me" isn't an act of love but of hate :) Or maybe the guy didn't cheat with her this girl, maybe the girl wanted to be with him, but he didn't want or couldn't do it, so now she's dead, her love for him will be unspoken :) | |
