in my opinion this song's about death penalt...it's about someone who knows he's guilty (blood into my hands i can't deny) but he's afraid of leaving this existence... the word "cage" made me think of prison.... anyway it's a great song

I know that the real meaning of it is the death penalt but each time I listen to that song, I think of someone who suicide. "blood into my hands I can't deny " is just like the person cut herself "Living in their cage They are killing me " it's like her demons in herself and the lies that people had told her that kills her from the inside and that makes her doing it. "a bitter smile delights me at the end " it's like if someone had just found her while she's giving her last breath... And all the ting with the paranoia and that she is waiting to die, waiting that her blood would come out of her body completely. That's my idea of the thing! :)
