| i agree with a lot of you guys, i reckon its about weird things that happened in in this guys house, probably after getting drunk and maybe doing drugs or something, cause the lyrics have some pretty weird imagery in them | |

| this song is about a person that randy used tio know"frank pollard"and about all the crazy shit that happened in the house,I would imagine drug related mischief,I have a similar place, this is what randy said in revolver about the song in fact they give meanings to every song on new american gospel, including letter to the unborn which is fuckin heartwrenching to read | |

| "All the fucked up things trap & punish me I cannot explain my problem. Kill my hopeless life I cannot be hypnotized. You owe me." kinda sounds like something some psyco would scream from a rooftop before loading a rifle and gunning down the president.... when he says have you seen the speedy yes? what is the speedy?? | |

| If Frank Pollard is a minister in Virgina than this could be about the attempts of organized religion to control people's lives. First two lines refer to how religion is "supposed" to help people with their problems but how "i cannot be hypnotized". The next few lines would describe the entrance of people into an old church refrencing the fucked up murals and sulptures of angels, demons, the birth and crucifixion, ect. ultimatly listening to the words from the preacher (ie.Frank) he rejects his ideas and is "not afraid to speak [his] heart& mind" as it "cannot be saved... fuck your helpless world" (the helpless world being those who use religion as a crutch) the end could be a number of violent things that would cause blood to seep onto the pages of any book in a church, as there are many there, the most radical being Frank but w/e. on a side note: Hubris is an old greek term refering to shaming your enemy before you kill him to prove supioriority. | |
