I dont like their liberal fueled messages. I think you should keep politics out of music because it alienates alot of fans. Its hard to be a republican who loves music the way I do. Lamb of God has some of the hardest, anti-establishment lyrics ever, its amazing that they are liberals, really if anything they are anarchists. "Its scary to be alive" not because Bush is leading but because people fucking suck. The government pays people to sit on their fucking asses and pop out more children. Then all these children who grow up fatherless because their mothers never had the fucking brains to use contraceptive and they become unruly and never go to school, and then they fuck some girl who starts the fucking chain all over. This started like 30 years ago and now it is the leading cause on why AMERICA IS GOING DOWN THE SHITTER!!!!

I love this song, it is so heavy. The begining is brilliant, where Randy Blythe says "Our father thy will be done". and then it kicks in. While the terms Randy actually use sound like he is talking about God, I think he is actually talking about the American Government and how it is destroying the country he loves.

Bush is bad, sure, but the problems with this government started long before Dubya, even before Bush Sr.

I don't understand whats up with that, i mean which do you think? The liberal message is good or bad? I really have to dissagree about the whole putting political messages into songs thing. The point of a song is so that the creator can get their ideas/point across. It's their voice and way of speaking out in a world where few listen unless you are in their position. They shouldn't change their music to apease the fans, the fan is a fan because they like the band, not the other way around. As for the song, it is awesome, i think the last line is by far the best line. Its not to cryptic to the point where you can't find the message but its not like that eminem song mosh which goes out and says fuck bush.

Randy Blithe is very good at taking biblical referances and putting a political or social slant on them. Sorry, but this song is definitly about Bush.

I hate to tell all of you who are saying this song is about Bush, but this song was written and recorded before Bush came into office. Therefore, it only makes sense to be about religion.
