	bethie up the top is right. s.t.h has nothin to do with tolkens books, unfortunatly this one does, (i hate LOTR), but the song aint that bad.

	I'm not saying that Plant wrote the song to specifically mirror that particular story, but the similarities between the story and the song are uncanny. Also, Plant is a huge LOTR fan (E! interviewed him outside the film's premiere, and he admitted to reading the series multiple times.

	I didn't know Led Zepellin are such big Tolkien fans, as apparent in a couple of their songs! That is quite awesome.

	I've always thought that the first verse is about Frodo, not Aragorn, when he's leaving the House of Elrond. I know of the theory about the "girl so fair" being the One Ring; I'm not sure if I agree or not.

	This is finally John Paul Jones's chance to shine. The bass in this song stands out incredibly, where Jimmy Page sort of plays second fiddle in this song. Reference to Tolkien and other mythical sorts of subjects is also in "The Battle Of Evermore".
