A few of my notes:
I've noticed from concert videos (found on the Led Zeppelin 
DVD) that the main riff:

Jones slides his left hand up (towards the headstock) where 
indicated with a /. Also, he may bend the string to each note plucked 
on the A string (in the main riff only^).
Both of these statesments are done only in concert versions, 
to give a little more interest to the song ;)


Also in concert versions, the part:

Is a very quick bassline. Jones tends to play that as shown, but 
seems to change it to:

This is done for the lengthy (averaged around 20-30 minutes!) 
concert versions because of the speed neccessary to carry on 
the song. If it's done very quickly, it can be masked fairly well. 
Again, this is only in concert. On the original track, he plays 
the riff as original posted.

	What Led Zeppelin fan doesn't love this song? It always makes me want to start playing guitar!, but i'd prefer drums :) best song to listin to when blazed

	Is it just me or does Plant seem to get off on Pages whaling guitar around about 2 minutes into the song. This song seeps into every part of my being.. simply hypnotic.
