Potheads always think that Zeppelin songs reference marijuana. They Don't. I'm not sure what they mean, all I know is that they rock. This is my 2nd favorite song of all time next to Stairway to Heaven.

this song is about sleeping around "Many times I've gazed along the open road." means many times I've thought about all the different women I could be sleeping with. "Many times I've wondered how much there is to know. " how much there is to know about women "You really ought to know..." you realy ought to sleep around a bit. Think about it. All the lyrics fit this idea and the idea fits the band philosophy about women

The guitar playing at the beggining(especially), and through out the wong is fking beautiful. Also that catchy bass riff that goes alont with it rocks. Probably my favorite Zep song.
