	ok ok, up the bracket does mean to punch someone in the throat, its from the carry on films i believe. to explain some more 'english references'..... shadow men are police and yes those are the roads. if you want to put a 'plot' to it, its basically pete (who wrote this song without carl i think) being followed around london by police officers looking for someone he knows, and he gives them 'the fingers'. and pete no longer has seroius drug problems by the way.
