| I think this song is pretty simple to understand. I know I feel the way he does. Sometimes you just wish everything would work out, that you'd find the answer in a night...but in reality it could take a lifetime. And sometimes we wish that what is real...would be a dream..because we can wake up from dreams...but you can't wake up from reality. | |

| I interpret the song to be about the struggle to fight through a problem, however it may be. Somewhre In Between seems to describe the feeling of being trapped between the beginning of this problem and the ultimate decisioin you must make. I am in such a predicament and the song describes it quite well. Painfully well. However, the "tomorrow morning" described in the song, the problem resolved one way or the other, is a long way off for me. P.S. - sorry if this comment doesn't make sense; I am suddenly quite tired. | |

| ...this song has very special meaning to me. I think it's about a broken love. A relationship that was once so perfect, but is so broken now, he can't believe it. it's about the pain of love, the way when you're with somebody for so long, and things suddenly end, you eventually break down. they're all you think about, you lose sleep trying to figure out a way to work it out, and when you realize that it can't be worked out, you wish it were a dream. You try to tell your self that you don't need to worry about it, it's done, and you wish with all your heart, that things could go back to the way they used to be, before they came into your life, but it's not that easy.... that's what i think the song is about. | |

| This song to me is very meaningful towards the events of September 11th. "Losing sleep over this" "This cannot be happening" "And everything will be back to the way that it was I wish that it was just that easy" "What is real Just a dream" | |

| THIS IS WHAT JASON SAYS ABOUT THIS SONG!! "Before my girlfriend and I got together, she had broken up with this guy. I'd been head-over-heels for her for years even though she was dating him. So they broke up, and I was like, "Man, if I don't make a move now, I may never get a chance." I was always friends with her but never really could get a step further. So I started taking her out to dinners and stuff. She was a little bit on the rebound, but I think she had some feelings for me. We were at that point where we weren't sure if we were dating or not, or even if she really liked me in that way. It was a very vulnerable time for me and that's when I wrote "Somewhere In Between." I poured all those feelings into the song. Then I played it for her and that was it - we were together." Bless him xx | |
