| to me this song is about a love that has fallen apart. He simply cannot believe that its over. Thinking maybe he can figure it out, but he begins to realize that he can't. As the song goes on he is starting to believe that this is happening, and he begins to pray that hes just dreaming and he can wake up from it and embrace his love again. Similiary if you've ever seen the video for hemmorage by fuel its like that. Well at least thats what i think this song is about. | |

| This song helps me remember that I HAVE to turn to God. I just CANNOT do anything without Him. It's just impossible. | |

| Before my girlfriend and I got together, she had broken up with this guy. I'd been head-over-heels for her for years even though she was dating him. So they broke up, and I was like, "Man, if I don't make a move now, I may never get a chance." I was always friends with her but never really could get a step further. So I started taking her out to dinners and stuff. She was a little bit on the rebound, but I think she had some feelings for me. We were at that point where we weren't sure if we were dating or not, or even if she really liked me in that way. It was a very vulnerable time for me and that's when I wrote "Somewhere In Between." I poured all those feelings into the song. Then I played it for her and that was it - we were together I read that on a web page, the lead singer said that is what this song means. Seems to me thats the way I see it to. | |

| Jason Wade himself told me that this song was written when he first fell in love with his wife and she was involved with another guy at the time. After she broke up with the first guy, Jason played the sympathetic friend and took her out a few times, then played this song for her, and they got together and got married in Feb. of 2001 | |

| I know that Jason wrote this song about his wife, but it's all about interpretation. k? So I interpret this song as about God. And to me it's about going through something and you feel unstable in your relationship with God. And he's telling Him "Would you catch me if I fall out of what I fell in? Dont be surprised if I collapse down at your feet again". Like he's asking God if He would catch him if he fell out of the love that he felt for God. and he's telling God basically not to be surprised when he has to collapse back at His feet again. I took that as falling on your face at the feet of God. And I'm not being narrow-minded. I just interpret things as they fit in my life. That's what interpretation's all about. ;) | |

| I agree with the majority of posts...I strongly believe this song is about the downfall of a relationship. It describes perfectly how I felt the night my boyfriend (whom I loved very much) broke up with me. It's a song about pure disbelief and finally realizing that it's over...and having no clue when things will get better again... Or if they ever will... | |
