| this song means a lot to me b/c it reminds me of how I chase this guy around. He's really sweet to me and says he likes me alot. But I know he also likes several other girls. I walk away and get sucked back in "over and over again". It is truely pathetic that I do this. But like the song says it a "sick cycle carousel"!! | |

| no matter how much i try.. i can never be perfect enough for my parents, they always want me to be something else, do something more, climb over giant fences. like in the video, it makes me feel small and helpless. this is wat the song means to me, nomatter how much i try to tell myself that wat my parents think of me doesnt matter, it does, and id kill for their approval.. this i could also relate to when i was in a relationship where the guy wanted me to "bend over backwards" for him. which meant, changing everything about myself to suit his perception of what i was(in the past) | |

| This is a great song that not only appeals to the lyrical side, by making life seem better than the example, but it appeals to the side that strives for a beat and for a good tune. | |

| Actually I wrote my comment before reading yours :P but I guess I wasn't too far off. The song is describing an internal struggle driven by guilt... The fact that it is not specific about the nature of the guilt just makes it easier for listeners to personalize it. | |
