This song is about God, there is no arguement, he has said in many interviews that "Lifehouse" is a "Christian" band, he wrote this song about God and what God does in him and to him. All of you that have this song as a song between you and your partner, that's great, but just know that it was God that put you two together and that without him, you two would have never met. "Steadlydrowning" I know how you're feeling and although you may not believe me, I really do, just hang in there and things will be okay, I'll be praying for you.

to me this song is all about how God is everything....like the title.....all you need is God in you life. Nothing is better then having God in your life like there are tho's things that are like wow this is great feelings but is it actaully great. listen to the passion they play with in the song they give their all telling God how much they want him and thats all they want and how hez everythnig to them and how they cant stand in God's presence becuase you cant stand in his presence and not be moved. God is real...this song tells you that.

i agree with walking-catastrophe- this is my favorite song in the world because it sums up everything about my relationship with a certain guy- i am agnostic- sorry guys- so i think that this can be interpreted in many ways- i read an interview where jason says that "That's a super-special song for me. It seems to really connect with other people, too. It's one of those songs that every time I played it, a new part came to it. That's why it's so long and kind of mysterious. It's a bunch of different bits and pieces, but it has power because it kind of sums up everything I'm about - lyrically and in terms of my relationships and Lifehouse overall. So I think it's a perfect way to end the record." -just so you know- i got the same quote from several different places- so i guess interpret as you will- be well and until then...

this song always makes me feel like shit. shit = depressed. because i dont have that type of relationship with anyone..including God and no matter how hard i try i keep failing at it. plus this song reminds me of my old best friend.. we dont talk anymore..but we always use to drive around for hours listening to this one song.. i would always cry, and she would always listen... to me cry and what i had to say. since we dont talk i always hurt when i hear this song..

This song is so powerful. It cannot be intended for a girl, it had to be about God. Only God can give you the peace of mind he is talking about in this song.
