| sorry, i find it hard to get emotional about a song with lyrics like: "so you can take that cookie, and stick it up your yeah..." for some reason that just doesn't do it for me. if that gets you excited....well then you're easy to please i guess. i prefer to listen to songs that have some kind of meaning. not just some jackass talking shit and bragging about what a badass he is. you want to hear some real bands? ok, try chimaira, nothingface, mudvayne, slipknot, hatebreed, poison the well, shadows fall, god forbid, killswitch engage....etc. you know, you ARE allowed to write a meaningful song that can get the crowd pumped up to. you don't have to sacrifice one for the other. and i don't see what's so hypocritical about creed. i don't particularly care for their music, but i don't recall them telling everyone they were fucking hardcore and then backing down to a fight. yeah they sing about religion sometimes, but they're not a christian band technically. they all practice their religion differently. who are you to judge a band for their personal beliefs? | |
