	I dont think that this song was ever about being blamed criminally. I think its about being singled out...non-inclusive. In my opinion "guilty by association" means that u r always judged by the ppl u hang with. Like if ur crew r potheads...then there u r...or if ur crew r preps...then u r also labelled. I think sumtimes...a lot of the times...as humans we just want to run away from all the shit. We wanna break free from the clutches of conformity. There is also much premis in the song f broken trust. I think this also applies to my interpretation of the song because as kids we r always taught to be ourselves and to be proud of ourselves. But as we grow up, if we r not the person society wants us to be...then we sure as hell will be changing. That is why there is broken trust. I think that the graffiti decorations and the sky of dust is just symbolizes his inner impurities...a way to portray the idea that he is just as screwed up as every one else...and he needs tl run away and not say goodbye - just be lost for awhile so that he has to answer to no one and so that he can be himself with out being singled out.

	Linkin Park is a corporate band. They didnt form in order to relay a message or benefit the public in any way, they formed for the sole purpose of capitalizing. In an age where depression is high and people bored with their lives want to start a futile rebelion, linkin park is here to supposedly aid in escapism, when in reality they are just in it for self-advance.

	First off, dear members of Linkin Park, "Runaway" from luv4linkin. If you don't understand what I am talking about, listen to Eminem - Stan. Anyways, back to the meaning of the song. To me this song means too many people are being blamed for things they weren't involved in, because of who they hang with. Then they are tempted to run away from their problems to live in their own personal hell, or utopia, whichever they conceive. Things he may have said were never meant, yet when something similar happened, BAM he's Catch-22. This isn't my favorite song on the cd, yet it is hard to decide when the whole cd is packed with great songs. All with a Linkin Park feel that we all know, yet with it's own unique vibe that brings us back for more. If you are ever looking to spend some money on a good cd... Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory is the one. I am, As always, Animosity

	I read in an interview that Chester Bennington based this song on how he was never invited to patries when he was a teenager, he just turned up with the popular people.

	I think it does have something to do with being accused of something you haven't done...Just by being there etc...But not exactly get in trouble with the law about it...More like friends, family etc (Been there, done that). I relate SOOO much to this song and it helps when I've had a really bad day...
