| To me this song is saying that sumtimes everything is just so screwed up. Life can be so confusing and unbearable and you just dont know what to do. At times you think you see a light at the end of ur tunnel but when u get there, its just a "spot of light" and then u open ur eyes and ur enfolded in darkness again. Its like sumtimes the solution to all ur problems can be so close, yet so far. And then eventually any hope can fade. And soon, even the memory of that hope fades. "The memory now is like the picture was then. When the paper's crumpled up it can't be perfect again." Hope is something that is extremely hard to find.
