| The song to me, is about two good friends who after a gradual loss of mutual trust and friendship throughout the years, flip out on each other one day and one is crushed (socially, not physically) under the other. | |

| i tend to think a lot of songs are about suicide (have you noticed that certain people always have the same sort of interpretation no matter what the song?) and this one too. but this one is sorta different. i actually think its about the friend of the person that has the problem (drugs, suicidal, self injury, alcohol) and a lot of people know about the problem. the friend defends their problematic buddy but is getting sick of the endless cycle that comes with many of these problems. i want to think that the problem is potentially lethal because of the "making your heart stop just before you hit the floor" part. like hes saying youre going to die because of your obsession/addiction and i wont defend you then. the song talks about a lot of lying on the part of the messed up one and fights they have because of it. its pretty hardcore song if you take it seriosly (which apparently a few dont). hmm i just had a thought that it could be about knowing someone whos bipolar. all of the ups and downs of manic depression. fits pretty good. oh well its open to interpretation those are just a few of my ideas. | |

| i think it\'s about a person who takes crap from there friend because they\'ve either been friends for awhile or the person is too scared to tell them off. you know this happened to me ... my best friend abadoned me and didn\'t care but the only time she came back to me was when the person she left me for got mad at her or made her angry.. i didn\'t say anything because i din\'t want to hurt my friend...who really wasn\'t a friend at all | |

| This song seems to be about power-struggles in a relationship between a parent and kid, a group of friends, or whoever. The singer doesn't sound abused or unable to defend himself. He's waiting for his rival to fall, or the right time to bring him down himself. | |

| Vannaroth agree with you, to a certain extent , but music is a reflection of self is it not? And as such propogates the emotions felt by the artist at the time... To the many 'adolescent, middle class goths' youre unfairly branding a bunch of whining losers, Music helps... Dont get on a high horse and pretend that youve never been afflicted or experienced these emotions, people are in different phases of life. And were it not on youre pathetic inability to pause, think and empathise, you would realise youre in no fucking position to pass judgement here... [My Random Nothings] | |
