This is an awesome song! Beautiful lyrics. One of the best of Live's songs, I think. Seems like no one has heard of it, though. I think maybe it's unpopular because the music video was bad. For whateaver reason, this never got played on the radio much.

"Give thanks and praise For good things you found Humble people Not ashamed nor proud And always try to keep Your feet on the ground And love yourself..." some of the best lyrics i've ever heard... To me it's a song about slowing down and not worrying about trivial things all the time. It's about enjoying life and not taking it for granted... Transistor is such an amazing album..if you don't have it..go get it! You won't be disappointed.

i watched an interview with Ed, and he said this song is - surprise surprise, about spirituality. I'd explain more in detail, but I'd probably misquote him and screw up the meaning. The interview is on the DVD that comes w/ the greatest hits. This song has meant several things to me at several points in my life. As I've grown spiritually, I'd pick up on new lyrics and themes in the song which previously meant nothing. Incredible song, in fact, this whole album is outta this world.

i am not sure what this song means, rewally, though as most live songs, it is deeply spiritual in nature and symbolism.

I too never saw the video but thought this song definately rocked. I think Beautiful Sound nailed with the statement about how listeners who were not familar with LIVE were a bit overwelmed by the opening lyrics as they are not the typical catch phrase lyrics often found on the airways. I feel sad for those who quickly changed the station as they missed out on such a mind-blowing song.
