	I think this song has many meanings but to me it sounds like a song about the cult of materialism also known as modern society. And how from a young age we go to school "education" where they engrain the ideologies of modern society and how material things are the full extent of reality. People need to wake up to this dilemma. It's the system, the system has fucked everyone. They tell us our ultimate goal in life is to have money, money to buy material things that mean nothing. They make us work like machines and then our time of is spent consuming material objects. Our life cycle is to Work, Buy, Consume, and then Die. WAKE UP!

	When you go to school now days, the politically correct P.C. point of view P.O.V. is green ecological/environmental doomsday, as it's the Bible. What should be taught is media awareness & not to believe everything you are spoon fed. How there are many sides to one argument, differing P.O.V's. I was taught this by a TAFE teacher named Ken Enderby at Bankstown, Sydney, NSW. Today in the newspaper, The Australian editorial was that geography is being hi-jacked by the Green Left. Australia relies mainly on 'land based primary industries' for it's wealth. Current geography classes are being taught to find alternatives to this Industry, at the expense of the hand that feeds us all more & sustains the modern lifestyle of abundance. Teachers in today's society are stressed by lack of pay, so they become Left & didactically close their minds, not open it to the possibility that the Green Left are fanatics, Zealots & they have taken over intuitions with the sole purpose & mode of action: to proselytise . We can’t afford our young generation to be fear mongered into believing the humanity is full of wars, doom, gloom as society is lonely & isolating enough . This is what The Living End means by ‘suicidal education it got sold’ to the fanatic Green Left. Life cannot be brought together by an impending crisis. The weather (& life), is as Eastern Religion would state, is a series of never ending cycles. People don’t change at the flick of a coin or ASAP. All this bad news will put them into a cationic asleep state of non-action apathy, as the Green Left make the problem seem insurmountable.
