i heard this song when i was about 8 or so in the movie Dazed and Confused. it made me realise i had emotions and sad songs are cool. it's always been a fav. ever since then

This song is probably the best song ever written and performed. this is about him loosing his wife. Tuesday is a girl for those who didn't know. If you didn't it puts a whole new perspective on the song. one of the all time greatest. this song is so good and has effected our culture so much that it is in alot of movies

I also think this is one of the greatest songs ever to be put on paper. There aren't many sad songs I enjoy, but Tuesday's Gone is a major exception. Tuesday's Gone was inspired by the train tracks by the garage where the band rehearsed.

Could this song be about cocaine abuse ruining the relationship he has with his woman and he is leaving her ? Or to take it a step futher, she died of an OD ?

I think this song is really good yet really sad too...the lyrics are simple but still run very true to life. Super song, super band!
