I agree, this song is fantastic. There is one thing though, I always imagine this as some kind of deathbed type advice, you know? I always imagine this as someones last words. I first heard the Deftones version, but the feeling in this one is much deeper. Does anyone else see that dying person thing? Maybe I just permanately associate Skynryd songs with death after Devil's Rejects, i dunno.

Great song, great message. I remember hearing a radio interview with Ed King years ago and he mentioned that when the band was just starting to go on the road that Ronnie had mentioned how his mother sat him down and gave him this advice that's mentioned in the song. The rest of the band members all laughed because their mothers all gave similar speeches to them as they were about to embark on their own

This is my all time favorite Skynyrd song, it's so amazing. It's just basically saying, live your life the way YOU want to, so that you love yourself for who you are, and everything you need/want will kinda just fall in place.

WOW, so "simple" yet so deep. Whenever life has me down, (or sometimes when I'm not down, and feeling ok) I listen to this song. It always helps pick me up from my blues through the advice in it. Skynyrd is so good, rock on!!

WOW! I dont think i have ever felt a song like this before.I agree with oly su about sheding a tear...i did and i can't explain why. It's that good. Me only being a teenager, theres so much I have to learn and experience in this game we call life and this song just really put some things into perspective for me. "Boy, don't you worry... you'll find yourself. Follow you heart and nothing else."and "Take your time... Don't live too fast, Troubles will come and they will pass." From here on, I intend to live my life like this."All that I want for you my son, Is to be satisfied."
