Song: Bulldozer
Artist: Machine Head
Tabbed by: Ack! (a_thousand_lies@hotmail.com)
Available on the LP 'Supercharger'
Ack! Says: The one that was on here before was a nice try
but flawed pretty badly. It was written for standard 4-string
tuning and that was just plain wrong. Ever since 'The Burning Red',
Machine Head have been dropping to 'B'.
For this one, if you can, use a standard tuned 5-string, as tuning
to B on your 4-string will sound very, very "clicky".
Have fun. This tab is SPOT ON - there are NO mistakes.
Key
===
h - hammer on note
p - pull off to note
~ - hold note (let it ring)
/ - slide up to note
- slide down to note
b - bend string

| this song appears 2 be about machine head's intolerance of any pathetic sonofabitch that dares to stand in their way-"Bulldozer crushes all". i know they're a metal band [a bloody awesome one at that] but that kind of "take no bullshit" attitude is pure rock n roll. i'm addicted to this song because it sounds like emo kids being crushed to death under the caterpillar tracks of MH's unstoppable war machine. so flynn & co. ARE the bulldozer. their music could kill a xtina aguilera fan at 20 paces, and god willing, that may happen sooner or later. ok i'm just babbling now, but MH are the greatest US band since metallica. | |

| Very, VERY cool song. I thought I was in for a mindless mosh-fest when I saw the title of the track, but damn, it rocks hard AND it's got some depth. Very inspirational lyrics, and nice use of the bulldozer as a symbol. The bulldozer in this song serves as kind of hero... the singer encourages us to be like the bulldozer, even though the bulldozer isn't heroic in the typical sense. It's a self-serving machine-- but it IS brutally efficient at what it does and let's nothing stop it. And I think that's the core message of the song... to never back down from odds and to challenge yourself. | |

| whats wrong with Nu Metal anyways i honestly think that The Burning Red was their best album even though it wasn't heavier than the others but every song on that album was good. | |

| I love this song, nothing flashy, just good hard rock. This is so good to go mental and jump about to on the dance floor. | |

| I think bulldozer is primery an anthem cause its the opener of the album. secondary "bulldozer" is a metaphor for strenght, and the lyrics say that their fire is still burning like it ever was and it ever will be >>"the more evolving changes the more we stay the same" | |
