| i always thought that the song was about the gun laws in america. the whole song seems to be about the fact that the reason that people want guns is because of a law made for reasons no longer aplicable e.g. "I feed off pain, force fed to love it And now I swallow whole I'll never live in the past" and the fact the american constitution's most contentious aspect is that of gun ownership and the freedom to bare arms. eg "Let freedom ring with a shotgun blast" that's just my opinion though | |
